All fishermen that have hooked bluefin and yellowfin say that the yellowfin is by far the harder fighter. There's just no quit in them. You'll have some fine steaks out of those. ❤

We had spiny lobster in California. I was wondering if all of the spiny lobster are the same species?

It's amazing how every dive can be different. You get a target fish at the beginning, and sometimes you get them at the end. Those cave hole shots are awesome and full of surprises. I always expect to see some strange predator lurking in the dark. Awesome video footage. 👍👍

You guys really need to cross cut some AP steaks and grill them on the boat sometime. That fish salsa looked so good my mouth was watering. Some excellent accurate shots 😎

I have always heard from divers that 2 of the most underestimated creatures in the ocean are Barracuda and Moray eels. If they ever grab something you have speared just let them have it and move away. Great video thanks. 👍👍

Alot of diving and alot of fish. Telling you this story because I know you'll relate to it. When I was a teenager in the early 70s a guy spearfishing off Bird Rock in La Jolla California speared a huge black Sea bass. They can be taken below the border still, but they are completely protected in California now. The diver used what I believe they call a power head spear gun. Not sure how they work but I believe a charge of some kind is used. As I remember he shot it head on and was nearly drowned but had assistance from his buddy. The fish weighed 442lbs and you can search it and see the picture of the fish I believe. ❤

PS: Jack and crew, don't want to offend you guys but ... my guess is the Ocean Queen could have dived down with no wet suit and grabbed any of those fish with bare hands ans wrestled them up to the boat! No buddies needed, no clunky spear guns either. That's why she's the Queen though, I can't expect you mere, mortal, men to do such feats of strength and daring! Long live the Queen!!

May want to mention FL law requires crawfish measurement IN THE WATER. If FWC sees you bringing up bugs and handing them to the boat and measuring there, they'll bust yer chops
